We’re three boys raised on Oʻahu redefining luxury desserts. We combine French and Japanese techniques with island-grown ingredients to create confections that are as mindful as they are indulgent.
Our Story
Born from a shared vision, we are committed to redefining what dessert can be. Inspired by our early memories of ice cream shops like Bubbie’s and guided by a desire to create something extraordinary for our community, we set out to craft desserts where quality is always over quantity. Our mission is simple yet ambitious: to bring a taste of luxury to Hawai‘i that also happens to be wholesome. We strive to create desserts that feel both luxurious and mindful, crafted with care, and designed to delight without compromise.
The Tamada Legacy
At the heart of our journey is Tamada-san, a master whose mentorship imparted the artistry of French and Japanese culinary techniques. His guidance shaped our approach to flavor, texture, and presentation, and instilled a reverence for tradition and innovation alike. Nelson, one of our founders, grew up immersed in the kitchen, his father was a chef and Tamada-san was a family friend. Together, these influences became the foundation for a new era of elevated desserts.
